Our third quarterfinal this year features Amherst, Ohio’s, Marion L. Steele High School and Brookside High School in Sheffield Village. Team members include, from left to right, Amherst’s D. J. Theisen, John Perez-Strohmeyer, and Mark Vitelli, and from Brookside, Andrew Baughman, Kassie Brooks, and Chase Holm. Both Perez-Strohmeyer and Brooks won three “Standout Scholar” awards on Scholastic Games broadcasts last year. Brooks won her fourth earlier this year to earn her a spot in the program’s “honor roll” of four-time winners on this website.
